Greensboro, North Carolina — As a community partner, Petrova Law sponsored the Spring edition of Triad Startup Weekend, which took place on April 28 – 30, 2017 on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. Four teams presented their pitches and competed for the top prizes. Jen Riedel facilitated the event.
Startup Weekends are 54-hour events where startup enthusiasts, developers, designers and product managers come together to share ideas, form teams, build products and launch startups. At these hands-on weekend-long events, entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs work in teams to determine the viability of their startup ideas. Supported by the Kauffman Foundation, Startup Weekends are held around the globe.
Allie Petrova, a business attorney in Greensboro and the founder of Petrova Law, works with startups and new businesses from LLC formation and the initial stages of starting a business through the steps of business transition and business sale.
