Greensboro, North Carolina — Attorney Petrova will be serving on the Tax Section Council of the North Carolina Bar Association for a three-year term, commencing on July 1, 2017. In addition to serving on the Council, Ms. Petrova will continue her Section involvement as the Chair of the Membership Committee and the Young Lawyers Section Liaison.
The NCBA Tax Section offers a wide variety of programs on tax issues to its members and engages in tax pro bono projects. It also meets annually with the N.C. Department of Revenue and IRS representatives located in North Carolina. It also engages in tax policy, tax legislative projects, and helps shape the NCBA’s legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.
